[B]HOW THIS WORKS:[/B]
For anyone new to our little grading club. As payments come in, your slot is marked paid and a number is attached to your slot from 1 to the total number of books. So if you pay first, you get the first slot, which will be book serial numbered 001 on the order. All CGC books are serial numbered once they get into their system ending in 001 to how many get sent in total - If you were in the 1st slot, you will receive book 001 for that slot, second slot, book 002, and so on. You'll also get whatever that particular slot grades in at. I do my very best to only send 9.8 candidates in, but make no guarantees on grades.

It's hit and miss. I've had some books come back faster and were submitted after other books. I don't understand how they work, or how they prioritize.. I just do my best to deal with it :) Congrats on a gorgeous book!!

Thanks for the update Indy. If you want to hold it until Afterlife with Archie comes back that's fine with me. I'm not in any rush. Hard to believe there is only 3 of these on the census. This was my favorite of the steam-punk covers by far.

Some books just take time for people to realize how awesome they are. Look at the Hughes Supergirl Variant, or even the Black Cat Campbell craze going on now. Both those books could be had at one time for decent prices, now they're virtually tough to get anywhere at a decent price. I agree, this cover is fantastic. I stockpiled a few extras :)

More often Risk Takers are the ones who are rewarded later, not the safe bet IMHO. Look at Dredd Underbelly, my last 9.8 sold for $174, not many people graded that one, granted it was tough to get, but I'm still buying them for $30 any chance I get.
