So, I'm not usually the type to do this whole public call-out thing, but this time around I sort of had to. I can't just sit around and continue to let things like this happen without the rest of the members knowing about it. Figured it was in the best interest of the forum.........

Sorry, jeffro318, but you asked for it.

Last week I took part in Jeff's Team Connor Benefit Sale thread (http://www.blowoutcards.com/forums/f...efit-sale.html), where he is selling off cards from his own personal collection to other members on here, with 100% of proceeds going to the benefit of Team Connor (which by the way has already raised almost $150 for Team Connor

). This is selfless and admirable, much like the actions of a select few here on Blowout that have also gone WAY out of their way to help the cause.

In doing so, I bought a Willie McGinest auto - which is awesome since I'm a Pats guy. Upon getting the package today, I see that Jeff has gone ahead and added in a TON of other Patriots cards for my PC --- including other autos and inserts/parallels.

The cards themselves are awesome - without doubt they will stay in my PC - but it is the overall gesture - both for Team Connor and also for him giving me extra stuff that he knows I'll enjoy - that deserves applause.

Jeff hasn't been around long on Blowout, but he is quickly rising amongst the ranks of the folks in the 'Good Guys' Club' and definitely deserves recognition. The guy is a standout and I'm glad he is a part of our community and someone I'd honestly call a friend. Way to go, Jeff.

Now if only we can do something about him rooting for the Dolphins (where, by the way, he focuses on classic 80's Dolphins players for his PC, in case anyone is ever feeling generous)........

The nerve of him! Jeffro is really a great guy. I've had the pleasure of dealing with him a few times on Beckett and he is definitely a selfless guy! WTG Jeffro!
