I think it's a little to early to put all the eggs in Garcia's basket. He is still young and I wouldn't pen his name into the lineup yet. He's definitely worth penciling in and hopefully growing him into a solid major leaguer but I'm sure if you turn this board back two years you could see people high on Boesch, or for many other phenoms throughout the majors. The odds are most of the Puig's or other flavors of the week will be an afterthought in a year or two...some by the end of the summer.

Agree. Garcia has not proven he's an everyday player. I think he has shown he's major league capable though. Antone know if "The Beard" is interested in playing or in game shape? I'd love to pick him up for the rest of the year if he is.

I can't wait until Alvarez starts tomorrow. I have saw him pitch five times this season. Average fastball, but GREAT off spead stuff.

i've never seen him pitch, good to know hes a decent pitcher, hopefully he can have a good game tommorow
