Quick question guys, does it matter if you used pokerstars.net or pokerstars.com when downloading the application on a PC? It has been a while since I played pokerstars since it got locked down on real money for the states.

Make it at .net. That's what they recommend for play accounts in the USA.

(That's what it says here:
Poker Online | Play Poker Games at PokerStars.com )

It does matter because 1 is real money and 1 is for play money. I think we have to use the .net one

Just checked my email. Everytime someone comments I get an email and I see that doug is following. So he should get an email for every post I'd imagine which is a good way to keep up.

I also can see what email was used when commenting which is great. I think I can make the blog private to only those I invite. I can set that up with the emails I believe.

Just want to make this clear real quick. I know I'm not the OP and I'm not trying to hijack his thought on this but I'm just trying to get this moving. His email expressed that he is busy which is understandable. If everyone is fine with this I'll continue to try to get this off the ground, if not than I'll let mike do it when he can.

My opinion:
Keep it up, OP can't get mad for you helping out.

As long as the out come is the same - poker tournaments for us all.

I doubt it's illegal if I don't gamble on the site.

True, but these tourneys aren't just for fun so in a sense that's where I'm not 100%

If I'm allowed to enter a group break, I feel like I should be allowed to do this.

If you can go into a casino, sit on a table and gamble then your in. Group breaks aren't a valid comparison. Unless anyone on here can show me something stating it's allowed. Like I said sunsfan, I have no problem with you playing with us but I'm trying to avoid all possible issues, especially legal ones.

But, I'm not going to a casino. I'm not putting any money in a gambling site. This is all on my own, so that's why I brought up group breaks.

I'm going to be a player who will say I have no problem with sunsfan8 playing. We may not know half of the other players ages because they aren't public and if he can sign up and register on the poker site then I don't think there is any issue. Just my opinion though.

Thank you. I always find the gambling age restriction ridiculous. People under 21 are irresponsible to gamble, but 40 year olds with gambling addictions are fine.

Also in same areas of the US the legal age to gamble is 18. I've also played with underaged individuals in the past and I've also played as an underaged individual in the past.

A little late to the party but I'd be interested as well. As far as age requirements go, there are casinos that are 18 and up. Before the big crackdown with the online sites, all required you to be 18 or older to play and the ones that are still around now have the same requirements I believe.
