Can someone explain what the buyers end game was here? Was it to hopefully remove the blue mark and then submit for grading?

Id guess that's exactly what it was. Or atleast to remove that mark to add significant value. I just don't understand how it could look THAT bad if someone was carefully trying to remove it.

God I hope if I ever have a problem with Paypal I hope I don't have whoever decided your faith in this case. What a bunch of hogwash.

Why did you accept the return without pictures? Always ask for pictures because even if you accept it eBay / PayPal still review it.
