Yes you need to just look for NBA ONES. Champion is generally the best ones.

what was it that made it so much? I personally like RL but that isn't a style I would wear.

It's a rare piece. Old RL is selling like crazy. I'm honestly surprised he didn't get more. I've sold multiple Ralph Lauren T Shirts for well over $100. The vintage Ralph Lauren is being bought up by a lot of the Japanese folk in California. If you find Ralph with the bear on it, you're sitting pretty. If you need examples I've got plenty I can provide.

I used BIN/BO, when I run an auction I start it close to what I want.

BIN, I sold that Vikings Logo Athletic which was awesome and rare in an auction. The problem with rare like that jacket is, I was not able to find a single example of one. You need time for people to stumble on it since nobody is looking for it.

I spent a year reading a thread like this at FCB. Just seeing what people got, what it sold for. That's why I started it here. I post my stuff, but what I really want is to see what other people found and what they got for it.

So how do you know what stores to go to? Is it worth trying a Savers or Goodwill?

In Minnesota, Thrift stores are the only option. I've heard garage sales are way better.

Goodwill is usually good to me. Found a like new Polo Ralph Lauren three button polo shirt for $4!

Someone mentioned TJ Maxx...I wouldn't bother. They used to have really cheap pricing but in the last few years they have gotten more expensive. Last time I was in there they had their Polo shirts at $40. That is cheaper than normal retail but about the same as a Polo outlet store.

yeah garage sales are my favorite. Goodwill, other thrift stores you can find stuff maybe 3/10 times but 8/10 at garage sales you will find good stuff that you can flip and most of them you go to is underpriced and people don't know what they have

I noticed I didn't finish my sentence before, no garage sales in the winter in Minnesota. They're going to ramp up in a couple weeks. TJ Maxx is good for the shirts I look for, a lot of them came from TJ Maxx I would bet, but in 1994. You could probably find great stuff there, but you would have to hold onto it for 20 years.

I go to GW nearly every day and end up spending about $50-100 each time. There is ALWAYS stuff there to buy if you know what to look for. I do not find much sports related stuff though. But if you take the time to go through all the clothing there are some good finds. I never find the home run but I usually find stuff worth 4-5 times the money.

* And I am just currently in a crappy college town. Once I go back home to Pittsburgh I am sure I will find even more.

Do you sell on Instagram also, or mostly eBay?

I just started listing stuff on ebay, before I would sell it to friends and other people who sold strictly clothing. I have a lot of the nice stuff still. Didn't go full blown until recently. I never knew a lot of this stuff did so well online.

In the past week I have bought probably 250 shirts. I really am starting to lose storage space fast.
