Why do alot of guys list crappie cards on here, who wants to talk about 2 dollar cards. not to mention the people who buy cards that aren't rookie cards, how do they ever expect to make money doing that

I concur with 37Jetson. For some of us, card collecting is hobby and not a get rich quick scheme. Some of us enjoy building up our player and team PCs or just picking up or trading cards that "catch our eye." I have always thought of this as a great place for the all types of collectors, sellers, traders, etc, and for everyone from the rip and flips to the "never gonna let go of my John Elway 98 Score common card no matter what" type of member.

some people actually collect as a hobby. if your building a pc of a team or player it doesnt matter what the card is worth. you can also pickup lower price jersey cards to resell at flea markets or use for trading.

who cares? AND, why waste time writing about something you obviously should be skipping over when browsing the forum.

yeah, i get all broncos for my PC, unless its a one year guy, i will get any broncos, i just sent a guy a lee evans i pulled yesterday /50 for fre cuz im not in it for the money, i wouldnt give away my nice stuff but something ill just put in a 800 count box and store it in the garage, ill give to someone who can appreciate it. Its nice when i make money but at the same time, i do this for the fun and the joy that it brings when you pull a huge hit, who can deny that awesome feeling when you pull a 1/1 rookie auto or something like that, ive made offers on this thread writers cards on ebay, and why do u have best offer if you dont take anything less than ur asking

If you want to make $, you are probably in the wrong hobby. With that said, is there a right hobby?

Wrong forum.

Think you're looking for the Fishing Singles Buy/Sell/Trade forum.

Okay, so you're saying that many of us don't know what we're doing?

No. I think what he's saying is that we should applaud him for his vast knowledge of the card industry, and take notes.

Reinhold, if you'd be willing to take the time to portray your current and future ideas and past investments into a power point slideshow, I'd be greatly interested in learning the tricks of your trade.

I am in awe of your overwhelmingly abundant knowledge of the world of sports cards, and feel privileged to be posting in the same thread as you.

You, sir, are a legend of this industry, and I am forever grateful to have been in your presence.

Thank you for being you.
