is it true that flawless and immaculate was the brainchild of a distributor who has tons of leftover panini product and is losing a ton of money, so persuaded panini to make a high end product, that was available to distributors only, and this distributor would be allotted the highest amount of cases and could set the market value? i am beginning to think the panini dudes didnt really want to do these 2 products but had to....

at this rate, Flawless is going to be responsible for the JFK assassination, global warming, and Bigfoot's whereabouts.

Flawless and Immaculate type products have already been made in the hockey line. If you would like to see what basketball products will look like, just see what they are making in other sports.

So does this mean that Panini has to delay all of their 13/14 products so that they can release two 11/12/13 products AFTER the new season has begun?

Seems unlikely to be delayed again after they said YESTERDAY that they were back on track for October 25... but I guess stranger things have happened.

Like that means anything. Panini is KNOWN to flip flop from one day to the next, it wouldn't be strange at all for Panini to change anything. That is one of my biggest complaints, they SUCK as a business, and if the NBA wasn't keeping them in business with their contract they wouldn't be selling much!

It would. I'm really anxious to see the new set and inserts.

I think I have become more interested in just the base Hoops and Topps Football sets. Fun to build the set and the insert sets.

Agreed. I think it's just someone trying to stir up drama again.

It's still good for 10/25.

Haven't most people already spent their money on this product? If it was delayed again I would definitely be outside of the PayPal window, which is a huge concern.

This was a similar scenario to what happened before with Flawless. I think Panini doesn't say anything until the last minute if it's going to happen.

Its quite possible he mixed up Immaculate push back date with Flawless.

That said, if they push it back again then they damn sure better make some late stage additions. I.E. a Kobe jumbo patch (still curious as to why this isn't in the product), and quite possibly a Logoman set even if doesn't have many players, Auto or non-Auto. The longer they delay the more they will be criticized if there are any shortcomings upon release.

I heard the same thing...
That there is one distributor who has majority of all the Flawless case, making it "Rare-r"
There is no doubt IMO that Flawless price is being manipulated for that reason
I don't think it is "sold out"

I am sure Panini "wants to" make these two, it just means more money for them
