sketches will come easier , could be a bad thing. may be tougher to get a good sketch . better artists working on the set. i beleive simko has a total of 20 cards in the set. theres going to be glow in the dark cards too . not sure if this would be of interest to the flippers. but the hardcore collectors should be realy happy with this . im realy looking forward to it .

The price of this set is a good bit higher - $400/cs vs $340/cs for BNS1. I haven't seen anything to believe the sketch odds will be any better and if the odds are better, the odds of pulling a premium sketch will still be something like 1:10 cases. From the 'flipping' perspective, I think it will be difficult to make money off of this set unless you buy at least 10 cases to guarantee a couple of BIG hits (gold adams, printing plates, full color sketches).

I think they shoot to release a set every 6-8 months so its not really unexpected.

Ya, I passed on this one - and I'm normally all over GPK.

They did this release too soon. Also, the odds on BNS1 were better than they were for FB3. So plates and sketches were much more plentiful. Saturating it even more on this release, does no one who is "flipping" any favors. However, if you are a collectors - probably a good thing.

It also didn't help that collectors weren't drooling over the artwork change-up. Certain hardcore collectors also stayed away from Plates and sketches last release, bringing the prices of the plates and sketches down.

All of a sudden things that were going for $700-$1000 on the previous release, were now $100-200. Across the board - it all got cheaper in the secondary market.

Would you mind sharing your source for this information? The posted odds for BNS1 were 1:96 (2:1 case) when pre-sales started and the on-pack odds were 1:463 (less than 1:2 cases). As far as I can tell the GPK on-pack odds are for the entire production run (same odds listed on retail & hobby packs) so I'm not sure what the actual hobby odds were.

The odds were never posted for BNS1 - I still have the pre-sales for it. We only found out the odds for the sketches, plates, black parallels and a few other inserts - once the product went live. I actually posted the pack odds on here and the GPK Underground on the release day.

Here is the odds for BNS2.

Thanks for this. I don't know where I saw the odd for BNS1, but it was obviously an unreliable source.

Am I reading this right when I say that this time around the Sliver parallel is hobby exclusive?
