Default Pizza Poll!

What is your favorite pizza place? I listed most of the well known bigger chains. If there is something local in your area just choose other and please specify.

We have this little pizza place where I live that's called Knolla's. Of course I am just a plain cheese pizza person though. They serve either New York style or Chicago style. I prefer Chicago style. I love bread. They have really good breadsticks as well. As far as chains go, I love Dominos the most. Love the garlic crust. I love little caesar's crazy bread and you can't beat a pizza at $5. Papa johns is ok, I like the garlic sauce. I get it a lot at the royals games.

I'm going with true "chain" places (even if just local - but many locations) as I could name a thousand local places I'd rather go that no one will have ever heard of.

As far as "chains"

Jets
Rotolos
Romeos

Off the list I'd have to say Papa Johns but I would bet that 99.9% of the people like a local pizza place better than a chain.

I like the 42oz $5.98 large uncooked pepperoni pizza from Sam's Club. I move all pepperoni to my half and add peppers, onions and other goodies at home.

Lis iss definitely papa johns for me.
As for favorite pizza place. Both of them are from back when we lived in Pennsylvania. Make amazing food. Vesuvios and the other is Giuseppe brothers (think that's how you spell it). They both make amazing pizza. Vesuvios also makes Strom bold and stuff that my family loves, used to go at least once a week..The other has good pizza also but my family loves the fact they make there own sub rolls

Ive never heard of Jets. Where are they located? I kind of figured most people would choose a local place over an actual chain. I figured I would list more the major chains most people have heard of. Im seeing some ive never heard of though that sound good.

I think it's real hard for one of these chain pizza places to top a mom and pop homemade pizza place. While you can get better deals, the taste just isn't much of a comparison.

I love Godfathers pizza but I don't know of any in VA. Of the chains probably Dominos since they went to the new sauce and the garlic crust.

Ledo Pizza if you're in the MD/DC/VA area

My brother's wife's Grandmother owned the sauce recipe, and her husband GAVE it away to the Marcos family in the 50's because he wanted no part of starting a pizza restaurant........if he only knew....

As far as chains, Hungry Howie's is my favorite.

Personally, I think Cici's is disgusting.

Went other. Jets is awesome.

There is no Papa Johns close to me but I remember ordering from there all the time back in college. Not sure if they still do it but they would put a peperocini in the box with the pizza. That was my favorite part about Papa Johns.

Fixed that for you. They had the greatest pizza until they changed it. At least they changed it around here.
