Problem with member tikitomoka

Hello everybody,

I hate to do this but I don't know what else to do for the moment...

I'm a huge Sam Perkins collector and I have most of the non 1/1s cards since a long time. I'm now avidly searching for 1/1s, not only on boards and Ebay but also in trying to look for Perkins images in the images search engines...

One and a half year ago, in scrolling Photobucket, I found this autographed (IP) Printing Plate...



I contacted the user and worked out a deal with him. I paid $50 for it by Paypal, immediately (I still have the Paypal payment information as well as all of our emails).

I never received the card. I've sent him numerous emails, being very kind and asking for news but never heard back from the seller.

I found out only later that he was a member here (that's why not trade agreement has been made here) and tried to contact him twice by PM, always without any success.

I'm a relatively new user of Blowout but I have a long activity in other boards and on Ebay. I have perfect feedbacks everywhere and never had any problem of this kind in the past.

Of course I lost $50 but this is not about money : this 1/1 card is out of me reach and I need it (I almost completed an amazing rainbow with this card and I have not that many opportunities to do that with my player) ! I told that to tikitomoka and I told him that I didn't want to have to write this post... But I just never got any answer... Sad.

I really hope this will help to unblock the situation and if someone has a good contact with him, I would be very grateful...

I'm sure he didn't mean to screw me and that one thing led to the other... But please, I need this card ! Let's make that right !

We always had issues with him on another site in the past.. Been 3-4 years though.. Pretty sure he isn't all that old.

What I am saying, Drama-queen, is it's hearsay as it did not happen here and a simple review of PMs will not matter. Him PMing staff will serve no purpose as they will not act on something that happened over photobucket...

By your reasoning eBay transactions should also be viewed the same way. Didnt happen here, so doesnt matter. Pull your head out of the sand mr ostrich and look at the world. Just cause it didnt happen here doesnt have any basis on the fact that he is outing a member (of THESE forums) who he has been slighted by. So unless you have something relevant to say (highly doubtful) why not go troll someobody else??

I can accuse you of ANYTHING...but, by your logic,that should be enough to ban someone over ?
If someone did you dirty,then you did them dirty,then came here and outted them,they should be banned ?

You have NO idea what is the truth here only what the OP said.

So nearly 2 years ago, the OP did a deal on Photobucket and NOW has is screaming foul,even though BOTH are members here ?

OP has posted NO proof and only made an accusation that clearly should be given the full weight of the forum staff because,well, Photobucket is as good as EBAY...or craigslist, or any other venue,regardless of it being in a situation where a SINGLE part could be prove...

There's a separate sub-forum for issues on other sites though. I was under the impression that this sub-forum is supposed to be for deals that were conducted on here, though over time it seems that's not really the case.

This is not to excuse the member in question - it is obvious tikitomoka has avoided the OP on this issue. I do advocate an informative thread, but at the same time there is no legitimate basis for recourse through mods on this forum for a deal through Photobucket/email.

Not at all. you took a simple remark and turned it inside out to suit your need for drama.
