Leroux did score with about 5 minutes left after replacing Alex, refs were pretty invisible the whole match, hardly called fouls.

Anyone think it would help if we tweet the cards to the athlete?
May get some exposure that some may not know about and start checking ebay.
Just a thought.

Do any of the Olympians sign TTM? Might as well do something with the cards.

Basically my point is that Topps missed out on two athletes that would have sold REALLY well (Douglas and Maroney). Both have super personalities, will leave with at least two golds each, and have the best shots of being on the 2016 team, IMO.

I really hope that UD, Topps or Panini releases a product with autographs from those two. McKayla's signature is beautiful, anyways...would be a good add to an all-sports product of some sport.
Remember, too, that Topps requires a lead time of 6-12 months to build a product. Within that time frame, Shawn Johnson, Alicia Sacramone and Nastia Liukin were viable team members. I would think Topps felt pretty solid having those three, plus Jordyn Wieber and Aly Raisman, in the set as the representatives for gymnastics.

But, yes, I definitely can see the card companies chasing after the rest of the "Fab Five" for autographs in products like Allen & Ginter, Goodwin Champions, and so on.

I'm heartbroken for McKayla...but in a way what happened today might help her popularity, her winning actually would have been boring and forgettable.

So, how are people's sales so far? How's the carnage?

I sold 2 sets over the weekend, 1 for $11 and the other for $10.50.

I have a 4 card lot ending tonight for Phelps (base, bronze, silver, and gold). I will let you guys know how that one ends up. Most of my other big hits have not been getting much action...

Didn't expect the prices to be this low. Last night my gold auto ended up selling for less than the base auto.

Interesting...who was the auto of? It seems like collectors are not caring much about the parallels...they just want autographs of the stars!

Alicia Sacramone, I think the reason is that the regular person just buying because of the Olympics might not realize the difference in cards. It may also be that when someone is set on one card, that's all they will bid on, even if better cards are selling cheaper. I will never understand eBay and don't think anyone ever will.

I still have a day or so left, but I'm probably gonna take a beating on my Merritt autos. No bids so far.

Shouldn't have ended my auctions on Monday, man I got hit hard tonight. Plus they were 1 day. Here's the damage:

Felix silver auto, 19.28
Whipple bronze auto, 6.05
Dalhausser auto, 10
Gay relic with hole in it, 2.25
Misty may relic, 7
shawn johnson relic, 7.50

Plus I have a hope solo patch that normally goes for 25-30 at 8 bucks and 20 mins left.

OUCH

So you were the lucky guy that ripped somebody off! I saw that auction and copied it but added his oly insert. Great work. I'm expecting 5-10 bucks, I don't have the patience to run a 7 day auction.

I've done alright so far but Jordyn Wieber has killed me. In retrospect, I should've just stuck to Swimming which was my initial plan

Yeah, but Maroney was the vaulting world champ last year..I believe that's good enough to be an option as an Olympian.

I would have loved to see topps choice for Maroney's card picture

You know things are rough when the Raisman 1/1 "only" sells for $224 on the day of her winning gold...
