The Ruth Cut was Popped in Five Star... my buddy owned it and sold it...
I hinted about this in another thread and was asked by about 10 people on PM about it... so here you go...
Card was bought at the Sun Times show a few weeks back.. and now is owned by one of the highest end dealers in the hobby. If it's not already on eBay, it will be soon.. amazing pull.. had to be shared. This is easily the nicest, cleanest cut auto of Babe Ruth I have ever seen. What do people think it's worth? Squints: Where did your old man get that ball?
Smalls: I don't know. Some lady gave it to him. She even signed her name on it.Some lady named... Ruth. Baby Ruth. All: *Babe Ruth?* Smalls: I was gonna put the ball back. Squints: But it was signed by Babe Ruth! Smalls: Yeah, you keep telling me that! Who is she? Ham Porter: WHAT? WHAT? Kenny: The sultan of swat! Bertram: The king of crash! Timmy: The colossus of clout! Tommy: The colossus of clout! All: BABE RUTH! Ham Porter: THE GREAT BAMBINO! Smalls: Oh my god! You mean that's the same guy?

$10000 is alot of money, I am just taking a guess it's very clean so it may be more. 10 years ago I would have said 25k but since there are a decent amount of ruths out there these days thats the reason I say around 10k, but I am probably wrong

A few weeks would mean it was pulled in the first couple days of release.

My personal guess is 15k... I know what it was sold for (both times) so I will just say high end dealers think its a lot more than 10 lol

This hobby has become so sketchy that every time I see a Babe Ruth Cut Auto I immediately wonder if it is real.
