Default one time rent fee for holiday ads?

[QUOTE=tedsports;347474]I do have to admit that I am rethinking the storage fee thing. At first, I felt that my sales would easily take care of it, which they have. I have not kept track exactly, but I would say the last few months I have averaged about $400-$500 per month in sales. Just this past week, I think my storage fee was about $75. When I first started sending things in, I was not opposed to the storage fee. Now that I am paying it, of course, I do not like it......but to me in the short term it is worth it.

would it be worth it to collect a rent for advertising comc? maybe draw more by spending more before the holidays? a one time rent to increase enrollment and sales? or 5 bucks a month over 100 in sales or something, this is the time to attract people to the site don't you think? some kind of membership drive working with preprinted and prepaid postage boxes for 1st time sellers to show how easy it is?

Yikes, I have been outed I guess that it is good to be #1 at something. I don't think I have achieved this level of noteriety since I was 15 years old and hit a Grand Slam batting Left Handed in a Clincher Softball Game at a Lithuanian Picnic.

I don't see "h4auto" on this list. Does he go by another username on COMC? Was he the one that asked this question? LOL Surely he's on this list. The way he talks, I guess I'm shocked to not see his name at the top of the list.

As of August 26th, he had only purchased 1654 cards. It looks like he's a long ways from the top 10.

I figured my numbers were higher as well with the ports I've bought, but I'm only about 2200 cards.

I wonder if they have that same list for most cards shipped by buyer... I'm most interested in identifying those buyers. Not that I have anything against "flippers" by any means, as I'm one too... but I'd like to be able to cater stuff I send in to the guys buying the most to have shipped. I'm guessing about half of my 4600+ have been repriced and half have been shipped.

sales on comc were stronger then cards sent in. but you have more sellers too so that cuts into it a little average seller wise. and trends lag, we might have more cards coming in now and a sales dropping trend if we follow the national average for sales and people are trying to sell more cards than buy. but then we have the xmas shopping season and then the post xmas shopping season so its bound to pick up strong with our low shipping prices hpauto4.

as far as shipping costs go you should also know that about 2 years ago the u.s. post office doubled their rates on a lot of sports card type packaging. they did that in 1 or 2 price increases and some post offices charged it and some let it slide but now most have caught up with it and its still cheaper then ups which every year is voted one of the worst 10 companies in america. i have been at this address 20 years and the post office has never lost a single package and nothing damaged. my idea is for an exchange card reader over the internet, you put your card in the machine and it sends a signal to the buyer that produces a new card of your card and the machine destoys your card and transfers the hologram. now there are no shipping charges, just a phone bill, and you have a card that is mint. card gets finished and a signal is sent to the bank to release funds.

then all that info gets collected into a main database and you have your secondary market price guide. last 10 sales, last 100, median price, last price sold, and they are all in mint condition or will be when sold and transferred.

C-C-C-Combo Breaker.

I'm not sure what's going on here on page 17, but it's fascinating.

Also, I'm sad you made Andres Nocioni an Oct. Promo name and not Daequan Cook. I want to send in my 100+ card collection at a discounted rate!

As I stated earlier their customer service is..., to be nice, lacking. I PM'ed Tim through here and I contacted them through their site a few times as Tim requested we do on here. I have yet to hear back from them at all.
Maybe they only reply the last week of the month.

I'd like to buy you're entire port for $150, but since your asking price is $816, I can only offer a minimum of $408.

If you reduce your asking prices by $516, I can buy your port for $150.
