Default Christian Ponder is the worst QB in the NFL...

And it's not even close.

I am so sick and tired as a Vikings fan watching this guy. I have never in my life seen a guy that is so afraid to throw the ball down field. I would take any starting QB in the NFL right now over him.

Bethel-Thompson would be a better option right now, but Webb should start the next game.

Blaine Gabbert would have something to say about that.

I hate Mark Sanchez but I would trade Ponder for him in a second.

Christian Ponder is simply incapable of throwing a deep pass.

It's embarrassing to watch. I would take Tavaris back at this point (never in a million years did I think I would ever utter those words).

Came here just to say that ole' Gabbs is the worst. Glad to see that within this short time he's already been defended.

Joe Webb should start the next game? Are you HIGH!? I wouldn't let Joe Webb start my car, much less something much more important.

I will say I don't think Ponder's been the same since this hit in college

Vikings fans are cracking me up tonight. A few games ago everyone was talking about how good ponder was playing and now he is the worst QB in the NFL! It is only his 2nd year give the guy some slack and a little time to develop. He could also use another target other than Harvin who is getting keyed on in every game now. You already won 2 more games than all of last year. Did you expect to go from 3 wins to division champs in one year?? And people make fun of Lions fans for being ridiculous!?!?

Well, I don't know nothing about him being the worst QB, but dude, did you see pics of the girls he's dating. Good Lord almighty, I'd have a hard time playing QB, much less concentrating on anything else, if I knew I was going home to that!

Seriously? No one in their right mind would want Sanchez or Jackson for that matter. Ponder will be fine...it just seems he's hit a rough patch. I'd stil take him over the aforementioned.

His rough patch is having Percy Harvin and a host of witness protection program WR's to throw too.

Lol...yeah can't do too much with a specialist as a #1 option at WR, although Harvin is having a solid year thus far.

Incapable of throwing a deep pass? He made every deep throw he attempted tonight. He's not afraid to throw, he just doesn't trust his receivers and they're not getting open. I rewatched most of the games this season and Jenkins, Arou, and Burton have been getting blanketed on EVERY PLAY. What makes you think that a guy the Bengals gave up on, another guy the falcons gave up on, and another one the Bears let go are going to be any good..these might be 3 of the worst receiving cores in the league for the past few years.

He's playing like a bad QB right now because he's making bad decisions and very silly mistakes. You act like every single QB from last year's draft isn't doing the same thing..

No need arguing with Vikes fans guys. Ponder obviously fumbled the ball while doing a spin move to stall a good drive. He then proceeded to play defense and let Doug Martin catch and run all over the vikes defense and allowed 34 points single handed. Yep he is definitely the worst QB in the NFL!
