I can't post payment info here until it's moved to active. After this month, when we post the next one, the mods usually automatically move it over to active. I apologize to anyone who's been warned about payments.

Payments aren't due yet. It's not active and the host has not requested that payments be made so you are fine.

Just to clarify what I was saying:

1) At the time, I didn't realize that it hadn't gone active yet because we were full on 9/5/12 and I thought the mods had been taking that long to move it. I haven't participated in a break before on this particular forum so I am still learning ALL of the moving parts of a group break on this forum.
2) I do realize that we have to wait for people to make payments.
3) I am aware that Cat can do the payment stuff how he wants to, but that was not what I was getting at.
4) I was curious, at that particular moment, if we were going to have to wait on mod approval and moving to active every month before paying and breaking because it seemed like they were taking a while to move this.

Moved to active

When sending an Online Payment to the host, protect yourself by sending as goods (not gift). If a payment is sent as a "gift", you eliminate your chance of filing a claim or chargeback should the need arise. If possible, fund the payment with a credit card to be fully protected.

Please rereport once you're ready to setup the order.

Alright guys, we're officially active. So let's get the payments rolling in.

Payment Due Date: Noon Eastern, Sept.11

Payment info: Please mark payments as goods and include your Blowout user name. Send payments to catfishhedberg@yahoo.com. DO NOT include the term GROUP BREAK with payment.

Products aren't announced until all payments are in. That way we won't have people dropping out because they don't like what someone picked.

Works for me. I hadn't thought along those lines.

Now that we are accepting payments and getting closer to being paid up for the 1st month, I think it is a good time to start the conversation back up on what products to break. It is completely up to Catfish to choose what to break the 1st month, but I believe he has decided to random the list of options submitted through the thread.

The cases sound fine to me. I personally am more of a mixed box kind of guy.
Any suggestions though will go onto the list for randomization, so you guys keep em coming.

Given the rapid fire of ideas thrown out in the first few pages, I think it would be a good idea to reset and start the list fresh. Limit it to one submission per spot. If you like someone's break idea, then you could "vote" by submitting the same idea thus putting it in the random again. If you are in for multiple spots, then you could cast your vote for each spot you are in (since you are paying multiple times, you should be able to be represented with each spot). This gives every spot a chance to have equal voice in the decision.

What does everyone think of this idea?

If we decide to do this, here is my official submission for my "vote" for 1st break:

2007 Upper Deck Ultimate Collection Baseball Hobby Box : $158.95
2008 Topps Triple Threads Baseball Hobby Box : $189.95
2x 2010 Bowman Platinum Baseball Hobby Box : $114.95
2011 Topps Tier One Baseball Hobby Box : $74.95

Total: $653.75

Let's have fun and keep this league going!
