pico04 has taken the last open spot. Once I get payment from him I will contact MODS for the random for both cases as 2 drafts has won the voting.

yikes....I am going to get greedy since we decided to go with 2 drafts and hope for 2 top 5 picks.

If my greed back fires and I get to picks in the late picks at least the Raiders should be available.

Everyone should have a draft list and foward to me or I will make a prerank draft list and it will go to autopick if not picked within the alloted time frame. Might be slow going the next couple of days though with the holiday so please be patient.

That should work Lexus. Both drafts can go at once also, no reason to wait for one to finish.

I think the 30 minute limit is crazy. I know the last couple drafts took longer but this is going to really screw some people up I believe. I know for myself I don't have any sort of set draft list though I guess I will need to make one because there are many times I have actual work to do or family demands and can't live on the pc or phone even though I may want to lol.

Ill send my cell phone number to Brian so that way if needed someone could call or text.

Also I am up for paying a bit extra to keep the spot for calliente

I was in a group break before where no time limit was initially set, and per BO rules, the host had to give the group a 48 hour notice before implementing a time limit rule.

We've done 6 breaks with no major delays that I can recall, I don't forsee anything drastic happening with this one.

Lex let everyone know last draft a time limit would be implemented. The rules really should be on the front page though to take the guess work out of it. You don't have to live online to make 1 pick a month (2 this month but that was by majority vote) pm can get sent to personal email.

"Live Draft" Breaks -------------------------

- If a "live draft" style of break is being held (participants choose players, teams, etc. rather than having them randomly assigned), the slot selection process must be performed exclusively on the Blowoutcards forums. Ustream will also be allowed under certain conditions: 1) There are too many participants to have the draft posted directly in the forums. 2) The participants' ustream IDs are posted beforehand to verify his identity. 3) The chat is recorded as the video stream so that there is a record of the draft.

- The host shall provide his/her default player rankings for the product. The rankings need to be posted in the first post of the initial group break thread.

- The host must set a time/date for the "live draft" to take place once the break is approved. A minimum of 48 hours notice is required for the draft date/time. If a participant cannot make it to the "live" draft time/date then he/she needs to submit a ranking of players to the host. If the participant does not submit a ranking of players, then the host's rankings will be used to make the selections for the missing participant.

--------------------------------------------------
I have absolutely no problem with time limits, I will make my pick.

It's not like I'm going to stick to the time limit but last month you guys roasted me as it took forever. We have until next Wednesday night to draft so I do not see any issues arising except for the holiday tomorrow. Lets all just follow this thread closely and we won't have to worry about it.

Just bothers me when someone knows they are up and keeps from picking cause they are shopping the pick (for a longer than normal time) or waiting for a checklist. I wasn't really around last draft to know what the problem was.

No problem with people being busy.

well should be fine, especially if we do both cases at the same time. 1 week of draft should be more then enough time to get things done. We all know drafting takes longer during the week, but the weekend we should speed right along.

I am all for any common sense limits. Just worry about any strict 30 minute timers and skipping anyone's pick. I am sure all will be fine I just don't like skipping people unless we have to. With time before opening some latitude should be given

I would put a vote in on what you want to break for August if you can so we can be prepared and start brainstorming.

Rookie and Stars doesnt look bad. (I actually was suprised how much I liked prestige)

Or maybe an old school, I personally wouldnt mind a contenders break maybe even a multi year one.
