On 7/1 he tried to sell me a lot someone else had claimed and paid for. It was all through PM's and I hit the report post to try and get the mods attention. I must have forgotten about it all because we never really made a deal or anything. Glad he's gone though, definitely seemed shady. I wish I made a bigger stink about it a few weeks ago, it may have stopped some of the people he scammed more recently. Sorry this happened to you all!

rdaveigajr bought a lot from cardcollector10 that I was interested in. So I messaged rdaveigajr if they would be available when he received his cards. He said they would be. Then I received a message from cardcollector10 saying that rdaveigajr backed out and the lot was still available. I saw it as a red flag and I decided not to make a deal because it just seemed off. I reported it to the mods, but I wish I made a bigger deal about it, maybe he could have been banned 2 weeks ago.

So what happens if he empties his PayPal account? I can't file a claim on the second Lot I purchased until Sunday.

Solid work by you suspending him before he really got way out of hand. Would have been much worse without a doubt.

I bought from cardcollector10 and he kept putting off mailing, making excuse after excuse.

I received nothing from him and he gave me a tracking number to another package that was delivered in Fontana, CA (I'm in Los Angeles, CA).

I'll contact Paypal to get a refund but I'll also be filing a complaint with the United States Postal Inspector https://postalinspectors.uspis.gov/c...complaint.aspx and the IC3 https://www.ic3.gov/default.aspx

I would hope others who were ripped off would do the same.

For those of you who received a package from him and have his mailing address (which I don't have), I would recommend contacting his local police department. He's probably some dumb kid. The police department would contact his parents, who would hopefully ground him for a decade.

Sucks what happened to you all. But the parents might be part of the problem for raising such an angel

You could very well be right. My only hope is it's a situation like I encountered gosh... over a decade ago when I was in school. I traded some sports cards to some kid for some video games and he didn't send. I reported him to IC3 and they sent a letter to his address. The kid's dad read it and called me and was very apologetic and kept asking me not to press charges. He was pissed at his kid. I told the dad to send the games to me and all would be forgiven. I received the games.

This exactly. I got 4 or 5 messages about when I was going to pay. (I paid same day) He kept trying to add cards to increase the price, and I got suckered in. I filed my claim with paypal on July 12th. Same day he shows new tracking. (different than the numbers he sent previously that didn't exist) When I got my package it was filled with .10 cent cards instead of the benintendi chrome lot (2015) I paid for.

FWIW I received a package today from cardcollector10 and it was in fact the lot that I ordered back on July 5th. No claim needs to be filed from me. Good luck to others.

Wondering how many people this kid either didn't send to or sent missing/common junk cards? It looks like at least 10 people....

he emailed me twice asking to cancel my claims so he could refund me. I thought a refund cancels the claim automatically. If you cancel people, you'll never get your money back.

Same here, especially since people who bought lots after I did already received something.
