Default ebay question

so i guess in over 150+ purchases it was bound to happen sometime to me.

it's a small-time card so I'm not pulling my hair out over it or anything, just curious what I should do.

2012 Luke Kuechly Panthers prestige xtra points Gold rookie | eBay

paid on the 10th, listed as shipped on the 11th without tracking info. The projected delivery date came and went. I've tried to contact the seller via message twice in the last 5 days and haven't heard anything.

What is my next step?

This happened to me for the first time the other week as well. All you have to do is file a case with ebay customer service. The seller then has like seven days to respond. If they don't ebay will issue you a refund.

After 3 weeks and no response from the seller it's time to file a claim.

It should be on the drop down menu to the right of your "purchased item". Should be something like "report a problem with this transaction", and go from there.

No, he is saying file a claim now. The projected delivery date is usually a weekand then another 5 days of no response. Open a claim...

Even after you file a claim you have to wait for seller reponse, so it could take several more days anyway. If it arrives in that time, great. If not, you get your money back.

No. Sorry. I was rounding up on the time frame. If the seller had responded I would've advised to maybe wait a little longer. With no response over 5 days I'd say you've waited long enough.

ok dumb question- I tried to do it through ebay, but the card/transaction doesn't show up on the list when that comes up. should I do it through paypal?

Means he shipped either PWE or didnt bother to put DC on it so id say its prob lost. File claim when the time comes... you'll have to wait sometime

In the "purchases" column on your my ebay page find the card in question. To the right of the card should be a few options:

View order details
Save this seller
More actions


Click more actions then click resolve a problem.

I'm not familiar with how to do a screen shot on my phone or else I would show you.

ok this is weird. ebay sent me an email saying "how do you like your... (card)", and it has a button that says "Resolve a Problem". When I click it however, I pick the "item not arrived" option and my missing card doesn't appear in that field. What do I do now?

Click on the item from your purchase history. Click on order details. Click on the arrow and select resolve a problem. Fill out the info.

i do that, and then it gives me the run-around a bit, then I open a case and the card in question isn't there. that's the hang-up.

update- seller came back and shot me a message yesterday saying that they still have the card and would like to ship to make up for the mistake. Of course, I already bought another so I don't need it.

They really seem keen on wanting me to change my feedback that I left. What do you think?

They have 4 negatives in the last month for the exact same thing.

Unless they get them all removed, they might as well just start over.

Click on "site map" on very bottom of page. Then click on this----Block Bidder/Buyer List
