96/97 Donruss Elite Hockey

Well inserts are 1:6 and a box is 18 packs...got two inserts. Luckily I have this great task of pulling Yzerman out of boxes I open..unsure on its value, but should come close to 1/2 the box price (19.99 w/tax so 21.14 OTD)...but my one box yeilded me nothing in the 1st 6 packs, 2nd round of 6 packs I pulled the Yzerman Die Cut, and 3rd round of 6 packs had the Fichaud Aspirations (/3000). Hopefully the base when I combine them with my others will net me a set.

You might want to go through your cards again. If I remember correctly there were non die-cut cards put in the packs by accident that were supposed to be die-cut. You may actually have more inserts than you think.

it ould have to be non-sn'd and pictured differently than the rest as everything else I had were base and/or rc's

I just checked ebay and no one has a non die-cut from 96-97. They were all from 95-96 and 97-98. If there are any non die-cut error it would have the starburst but not be die-cut.
