Default If you died tomorrow

So if you died tomorrow would your loved ones be taken care of? Would your collection be sold off? Just curious and I know it's morbid but was just wondering

My daughter is all taken care of.........my retirement and insurance all go to her. She's so involved with collecting, I have no worries about it. She knows to keep the PC stuff and dump the rest. I'm confident, one day, she'll be a BO member.

I'm sort of piggybacking off your question, but does anyone else ever think about what happens after death? I do occasionally and it's hard to wrap my head around.

Good question, but you're right on the edge of getting this thread locked.

I intend to have life insurance until I am considered "self insured".

My cards aren't worth that much, but I'd hope my beneficiaries would sell them off to pay for whatever they need.

I'm not trying to bring religion or any other sensitive topics into the discussion. It's just a genuinely fascinating question that I always wonder about and was curious in seeing how other people feel.

I've told them I want to have a Viking funeral.

Place my body on a boat an sail me to Valhalla, an archer will shot a flaming arrow into the boat.

Funds for this extravagant funeral will be paid by my cards and silvers, that I have saved up. I told them to sell them all.

I believe that their is a universal consciousness. If anyone is ever thinking about these very difficult questions, then I highly recommend meditation. There are several youtube videos showing how to meditate.

As for my collection. I am a younger collector, and I don't have kids or a wife. I got back into collecting as a way to become closer to my step-dad. I guess if life ends, one of us will consume the others collection.

If I died tomorrow it would be at least a week before anyone found the body and no one would have a clue what to do with the crap in my house.

My wife would be financially set, but she doesn't care about money. Literally, she could not care less. She would likely give most of it to our favorite charities. The cards are worth quite a bit, and I think she would call one of my friends and just ask for a fair offer. If he offered $10, she would likely take it and give that away, too.

I am not eligible for life insurance again until next year or the year after depending on the company. The joys of getting cancer at 26.

My family would be screwed.

I own a insurance agency and strong believer of life insurance as I have seen so many families financially destroyed because the death of a love one. You are never to young or old to have a policy. I will gladly answer any questions anyone has. BTW if pass tomorrow, my family would be well set financially

We are OK with insurance. Most of my collection would get tossed.
@Homerun - when you die everything just stops. The only people who know you're dead are everybody else. That help?

I've got enough life insurance to pay off the mortgage, send both kids to whatever college, and let my wife not work if she wishes...

Wife would be loaded until she used all my insurance money to pay off my farm and business debt.

Cards would probably be given away...

I am still young but as a former insurance rep I know how important it is to have life insurance just in case as I have seen how it helps people first hand but I have also seen how not having it CAN ruin people. I have a 1million dollar policy which costs a small amount (non smoker) but I have comfort knowing the woman and siblings are taken care of!
I am actually quite amazed at how many people with a higher net worth do not have life insurance or even proper auto/umbrella policies! They are so cheap compared to what you are protecting and even if you never use it the piece of mind is worth every penny!

I have a living trust so the people who manage it would follow the instructions without interference from the state etc and everything including life insurance policy, property, investments, bank accounts, cards, ownership of companies, etc would go to the people I want them to go to with minimal inconvenience.
My opinion is turn me into ash then flush my ass!

Really the best way to go IMO!
