Default Case Keenum Thread

Hopefully he plays well. I liked watching him a lot as the Cougars' quarterback.

Memorable games for me were:

Plays horrible, throws 6 INT in bowl game - Houston Cougars vs. Air Force Falcons - Recap - December 31, 2009 - ESPN
Out for the season with injury - Houston Cougars vs. UCLA Bruins - Recap - September 18, 2010 - ESPN
Comes back strong in return against UCLA - UCLA Bruins vs. Houston Cougars - Recap - September 03, 2011 - ESPN
Throws 9 TD's, breaks record - Rice Owls vs. Houston Cougars - Recap - October 27, 2011 - ESPN
Final college game, plays terrific in bowl game - Houston Cougars vs. Penn State Nittany Lions - Recap - January 02, 2012 - ESPN

I like Schaub too, but he is inconsistent and I've never thought of Yates as a good player. I'm expecting the Texans to draft a quarterback next year, but I doubt it's in the first round.

Anyways, it's time for Keenum to shine and turn this season around for the Texans.

Get the W!

Saying hes inconsistent? I watched every game amd you are bound to have bad ones, he broke every record possible so that should make him pretty consistent, however, im not sure hes a legit nfl qb.

The hobby needs him to play great today, last year when Kapernick came out of nowhere it brought excitement to this and new collectors to card collecting and needed momentum. I hope he does great today and is the 2013 Kapernick, we need someone to infuse this hobby now

I'd love to see that happen.

Nice opening drive for Keenum. A few nice passes and most importantly led us to get points. He looked a little bit nervous, but hopefully that goes away soon. It is so cool to see some mobility at quarterback.

I'd love to be optimistic, but 3+ picks for Keenum today. The sacks will be coming in a'plenny if they don't get Foster heavily involved...and successful. KC's D is just way too good.

ok, off-topic but they gotta do something about Keshawn Martin. he's gotta be one of the worst kick returners I've ever seen...

Yes, and it's been noticeable for awhile.

What about Devier Posey?

Even on a failed hail mary, he performed his part very well. VERY nice start for him.

Keenum is incredible. Schaub would have thrown that away 5 seconds ago.

whether the Texans win or lose today I think the starting QB job should be Keenum's to lose from here on out...
