It's a bonus variant, that's about the normal price on these at release. It's going to be $50 plus on ebay

The Aquaman Robot Chicken cover was unannounced until AFTER the final order cutoff for Aquaman #12

Extra copies can not be ordered after the cut-off. DC kept this variant VERY quiet, literally nobody outside of DC knew about it until this week. NOBODY knew it was happening. Shops basically get 1 for every 10 of the regular issue they ordered. This variant will dry up FAST!! The demand will be much higher than supply, I see these going up VERY fast.

Ahhh wish i didnt order from tfaw for twenty, since midtown has them for 8.50. Anyways i picked up 3 more from midtown. Hopefully I wont have an issue recouping my money spent. This comic stuff is crazy with all these releases and variants.

It's always like this. There was no guarantee Midtown would have any, so you getting the one at $20 could still have made you money should these go $50 + after release. Aquaman isn't a title that's heavily ordered anymore and has been dropping each month.. I only have numbers for issues #1-4, but orders went from 72K on issue one to 50K on issue 4, I'm thinking issue #12 will be much lower, so this bonus variant will not be prevalent and Robot Chicken has a huge fan base.. Demand > Supply = hot bookie wookie.

Yes, comics can be as expensive or more than cards, but I enjoy both. I get into comics a little more than Football though. I think it's my inner-nerd.

Your right. I think Ill do fine with what your saying. Im just so new with these comics and I just dont want to waste a lot of money. Especially since these were bought to flip. Should these they go for 50 + on ebay. I sell one I pretty much paid for all 4.

To be honest thou making money on comics seems way easier then cards at this point. Eventhough anything I make has just been going right back into stuff I truely do collect.
