Paper loss and pin holes should not necessarily drop a card to a 1 or 2. Even as a PSA collector this is one area I disagree with because the Gehrig presents much better than the assigned grade. If the card received a 3 or 4 I would have no problem based on the eye appeal and the fact that the paper loss does not detract from the back.
