Panini mailer plus 1000 points for return of autopen...lol

Got my mailer with letter stating I get 1000 points for my autopen Dak autograph cards... well 1000 points for each. Seems like a lot more value with having 2 identical and being the one who did the detailed analysis of the issue on page 10 of the main Dak autopen thread. Sorry but I need to see more than 1000 points for this fiasco. THOUGHTS???

Just to put it into perspective, 150 points sells for about $5. 1000 points sells for about $40. Dak autos sell for MUCH more than $40. Panini screwing up again. Tell me how this is them fixing the mistake?

I don't think either have any relevance in what they are offering. They have offered everyone the same "deal" to return their auto-penned card. If I had one I would definitely keep the auto-penned one, however, I think they should offer a consistent yet higher reward to each person that has one.

It wouldn't be enough to entice me to be honest. I'd keep the "fake" for that

Oh ok so yeah now if that's the case I don't feel he got screwed. Sure it happened & it's wasn't a good thing. At least he will get the auto's he deserves plus a bonus.

He didn't say he got his Dak auto. He said he is getting 1000 points FOR his autos.

How is this a bad thing? You get your autos, and 2000 points.

Its a risk like anything else in this hobby. But there are thousands of Dak autos out there now and they are only going to increase, how many auto-penned daks will there be? Imagine if there was an /100 or less rookie Tom Brady screw up error? That would be big bucks now

He is getting a label to return his Auto, which Panini has said they are replacing. The 1000 points is a freebie

Aaah gotcha. Okay. I think it's a pretty decent deal then. You can get some pretty decent cards for 2000 too if you're a baseball or basketball collector.

Sorry but to be clear....it IS a Certified Auto plus 1000 points that is offered. Since this pre fiasco card sold for about $65-70 and the last sale I see was for $300 I guess holding is my best route. I already have several legitimate Dak autos from other sets so I will keep these 2 identical autopen novelties and see where the value goes. Besides, 1000 points won't buy much from the rewards catalogue.
Also since I live in the state capital I guess it would be worth the effort to visit my States
Attorney Generals office to see what my states position is on FRAUD!

State attorney will probably laugh like ESPN and NFL Network people did about collecting autographs and then will show you where this was tried against UD and Topps and was quickly dismissed.

Didn't happen in Panini's house or by their hand and they are going to have a document from the player or their rep saying the autographs are real, but I wish you luck.
