Yes- he had even said many times he was sending a box full of clothes and shoes for my daughter even tho I told him a few times not to do that.

I joined BO because of some dealings with Braylon & Haiku. Braylon brokered some deals between me and Haiku.

Our deals never materialized, so I started to sense that something wasn't right with Haiku.

Braylon is a very good friend of mine in real life (not just a forum friend), and I warned him weeks ago i thought this guy was bad news. He was one of the many that was charmed by Haiku to believe they were friends, so he wanted me to be patient before I went on these forums accusing Haiku of being a fraud. Plus Braylon has a lot of money on the line he was hoping to recover, so he didnt want me rocking the boat.

So I posted a few cryptic messages that I sensed this was going to end badly....obviously my gut feeling was correct

Many of my messages got deleted...so it makes me question the moderators on this form and their relationship with Haiku

We all believe you. No one thinks you have the mental capacity to pull off a scheme of this magnitude.

I'm going to give you some advice; I hope you will take it.

(1) Sign off of Blowout, and close your browser. Nothing is going to get any better for you the more you write and read here.

(2) Tell your wife what's going on, tell her you made a huge mistake, apologize, and let her know you are going to make it right no matter what it takes.

(3) Find a second job doing whatever it takes to get your money back.

(4) Learn your lesson and be a better person for it.

Trust me.......I know some of the mods here personally and they have NOTHING to do with this AT ALL. I can speak for the character of Robert and Pat, and trust me, if there aren't working currently, they will be trying to help members.

+1. Even though Pat may appear to be a slick praying mantis type he is not out to harm anyone. And as long as you treat Robert's wife and dogs well he has no beef with anyone.

I think no matter what, his Paypal account will be closed and he will not be covered ...

But that being said, the chance that people who file claims get their money back is minimal. On a big dollar scam like this, Paypal does not just eat the loss. They will take a very long time (up to 7 years according to their T&C) to get the money back and until then, it will simply be noted in your account.

I've been owed ~$300 for four years now ... no idea when/if it will be credited back to my Paypal account.

Why would a item not as described not win claim? If he is scamming, he will not respond once escalated and money will be refunded...and his account will go negative...or am i missing something?

This would be a red flag from the start for me. Anyone in fashion, movies, real estate development always throw up a warning (to me) when they start talking about investments.

Sucks you guys got pulled into it.
