Why the Stu Ungar Cut Auto Never Appeared in 2010 Razor Poker?
Stu Ungar Signed Chip Count Card from His 1997 WSOP World Championship Win RARE | eBay
First, I've talked to Brian Gray a couple times, never had a problem with him, but something just doesn't add up with the 2010 Razor Poker Stu Ungar cut auto card, I found this on ebay in regards to the sell of the Ungar chip count card Card was originally sold by an unknown WSOP employee in 2009 as a set which included chip count cards from other major players from the 1997 Binions WSOP Main Event Tournament. The cards were originally sold with their tournament date as an unknown. *Cards were purchased on Ebay (2009) by Leaf Trading Cards for use in their Razor Poker product. (OP) - Note I received two of these from leaf as a consolation for pulling the 2011 Leaf Poker Tournament cards after the expiration date, sold them on Ebay to another big poker collector) *Several of the prominent cards were then graded and slabbed by JSA and Beckett Authentications. (JSA - James Spence Authentication) *2013 - After much research, I purchased the Ungar chip count card directly from Leaf Trading Cards. A letter of purchase/provenance will be included and is posted. *2013 - This rare Ungar card was written about by his personal biographer Nolan Dalla on his blog. This article can be found by google searching "nolan dalla collecting poker" Rare Ungar pieces such as this are simply not available often! They are extremely rare and I am told that not even his widow has a single signature of his! Here is your one opportunity to own a piece of history. The reserve will be set appropriately to this museum quality piece. This might explain why the card was never pulled.......... No one has ever seen the card in person or picture. There were printing plates made, as I pulled at least two of the four in the over 125 cases of the 299 cases made of 2010 Razor Poker. Unless there were two Ungar autos in the lot, how could the card have been made?

I'm trying to find out how many Ungars were in the lot, it looks like Leaf sold at least two directly to dealers in 2013 that are now selling them on Ebay, not sure why two years later both delaers are selling them. The first one sold for $2300, the other was made into a display and is listed at a BIN price of $5,000

I remember watching a movie based on him starring Michael Imperioli.

I know all about Stu, and chased that card myself a bit. I opened quite a few boxes of Razor Poker with that assumption that it was indeed somewhere. I have also never seen the Wheels Main Event Phil Ivey auto card from another set either. Doesn't mean they don't exist, or do.
The Michael Imperioli film was solid, but I was kinda hoping for more from it. It kinda let me down. |

The Wheels Main Event set from Press Pass never got Phil Ivey to sign. They had confirmation from his rep that he was going to sign but then after they produced the cards he never fulfilled anything.
Shortly after that his rep never remembered agreeing to the autographs. Plain and simple Kak - the Ungar was never made and never packed out.

Give their customers print runs then sell additional copies through partner accounts? All the while claiming the talent that signed the cards stole the aforementioned copies and that's where the extras came from?
Not saying funny business doesn't go on everywhere (who knows?), but this is so blatant it smacks you in the face.
