Loot from winning a fantasy league...how did I do?

Edit: I took a few minutes to research it...realize nothing was earth-shattering, but still....

So I recently got 1st place in a 10-team (It was a 10 team league, not 12, my mistake) $25 SV league with a group here on BO...I got my winnings in today. How do you think I did?

I'm not sure of the full details but only 7 cards? Wouldn't 12 teams mean at least 12 cards or was there a 2nd & 3rd place prize?

Either way I have to agree with Ajax

I don't mean to offend anyone who put any of these cards in...but COME ON. The best cards there are the Vizcaino and the Pineda and those will maybe get $15 on a good day.

I've always been hesitant to join these SV fantasy leagues and I think this just about seals the deal for me...no thank you!

My mistake, it was a 10 team league, not 12. There were prizes for 2nd and 3rd. You could send $25 SV in up to 2 cards (at the beginning of the season).

Still though, chances are you probably took 50% of the total pot? (I'm assuming 50/30/20 or similar breakdown.) If that's the case, still not even close to $125 SV.

The Montero and Pineda are the only ones of those that have sold anywhere near $25 in the somewhat recent past. The rest of those cards are borderline junk.

Dude...how do you think I feel right now? If I had known that I would win the league and essentially swap out the prince for a bunch of junk, I wouldn't have played.

I'm going to be talking with the commish, as I believe I got an unfair "random" and was sent "random" crap.
