Default Oregon Ducks Chip Kelly staying in Eugene

Starting to trend now Chip to stay in Eugene. Rumor is Phil Knight "made a call".

With Chip coming back, the youth of the team and a couple key recruits coming in, Ducks will be title contenders again next year.

I thought he would take the Browns job, they were getting ready to give him the keys to the Dawg pound.

Who in their right mind would take the keys to the Dawg pound?

Why the hell would he leave with the mamba becoming feature back, mariota coming on his second season and the signing of one of the better HS players this year!

It's not official but Jason La Canfora is reporying from sources within the Kelly camp. A source I have inside the athletic department also said that's what she is hearing as well within the past couple hours.

Love when rumors are posted as fact....That never comes back to bite anyway in the a** later .

As an Eagles fan, I'm fairly indifferent about Kelly, so whatever he chooses, I won't be super bothered.

Eagles fans should want no part of Chip Kelly. Hire a NFL OFF coordinator.

Kelly (Chip and Brian) and Saban should stay at the college level. They are great recruiters and can motivate young men.

Coward, Chip Kelly's gimmicky offense wouldn't last in the NFL. Hell, Kyle Shanahan's looks like it could be over after 1 year.

I'd imagine I'd loose a fortune of money if this bites me on the a**

How is it a gimmick if its a. Working b. being adopted by nearly every team at every level? I guess there should be rules that force teams to huddle and run stagnant offenses

It's gimmicky because none of the player who run it do a damn thing in the NFL. It won't transfer to the NFL because the QB's would be a bloody pulp by the time the Season would be over. Option read offenses work in college because the players aren't big enough to punish the RB's and QB's, they are in the NFL.

Look at RGIII tonight, he's not able to be the same player because he's talking unnecessary hits and he's not very big (he has to be slender, in order to be fast of course).

Chip Kelly made the right decision to stay in Eugene so he can keep recruiting track stars and win 0 national titles.

Can't believe the Eagles wasted their time interviewing him just like I can't believe they're going to interview Jay Gruden

After Billy O'Brien decided to stay at PSU the Eagles should have flown out to Denver and offered Mike McCoy the job. I read they interviewed him today but left without making any deal. If McCoy isn't coming to Philly then I'm hoping they make an offer to Gus Bradley the D/C from Seattle.

Saban would be out of his mind to go anywhere else. He's already the king of Alabama and will probably reach god like status after tomorrow nights win.

This has been confirmed on ESPN...I am surprised....Kellys stock will never be higher to make the move to the NFL than it was now

He wants to be "the man", you can tell in his cocky attitude. If his only option was Philly, that city would piss all over his ego if he failed. At Oregon he is king, that is why Saban will never leave Bama.

I despise Alabama, but Saban has a powerhouse brewing up. I watched the RB he recruited from Florida in the HS All-Star game, a 6'3" 240lb RB with speed, strength and elusiveness. Jesus...My poor Razorbacks
