Default Sens vs Habs Discussion Thread

Not sure this has many people's attention here, but it should be one of the closer series in the playoffs!

Should be a great goaltending battle. Two of the best in the league.

Can't watch the game, but judging from the stats, Anderson had been great.

I'm not seeing Pens having any trouble with the Isles.

I watched the game with a bunch of people that have not really seen NHL hockey before. That brutal shot last night had some dudes in awe.

Now that everyone has had a chance to see this hit from multiple angles, what is the general consensus of said hit, was it clean or should Ottawa expect a suspension.

I'll start by saying that although the hit is of a violent nature (trying to sound like one of Shanahan's explanations), this is hockey and IMO that was a good clean open ice hit!

Saying that, I hope for a quick recovery by Eller who is a quality person as well as player!

Good clean brutal open ice hit on a playoff level.

If Shanny the Nanny (yes, he is no longer Shan the Man) puts any suspension on this then it really puts a huge grey area on what is a regular hockey hit anymore.

good hit, the point of impact was shoulder to Eller's chest. The real damage came when his face hit the ice

Sens got lucky that it wasn't a key player, but yeah, that's a bad ruling. I would've given him one tops. Two is absurd.

Another blown call by the NHL reviews committee, just a joke I won't even watch the explanation as I'm sure it's BS! They are taking the physical game away from the players, this is #@#@#@#@ing playoff hockey let it remain that way!

They should be suspending Diaz also for rendering his teammate defenseless!
