Default Is it cheating if your dropping players daily to maximize your lineup?

First off, we're limited to 80 transactions for the season, so its not unlimited. Just a fun league, no $$ involved. Right now I've got 46/80 transactions (so I'm averaging 2 per week)

But I've got a very solid lineup, but as with most teams, 1-2 so-so players (at this point due to guys on my DL). We're limited to 15 starting Pitchers per week. On light weeks for rotations (I've had as many as 18 starting pitchers in a week, but like this week I've got 8), I tend to try to pick up whom ever I feel is the best option for that day since the league is pitcher friendly) to try and get close to the 15 pitcher limit.

I'm in 1st place (and prefer to stay there), and have 4 losses (2 of which were pre and post all-star game week), and one was a very solid beating in week # 2 (currently this is week # 20), and loss # 4 came last week due to less than steller Fantasy performance and a lovely rain pdd game that had it gone, I should of squeaked out the win. After this week we've got 2 weeks left before Playoffs start (nothing has been posted yet, but I'd have to think I'm in regardless if I lost the this week and the next 2 weeks).

Am I wrong for doing this, or am I using the system to its fullest ability in order to obtain my goal (finally winning a fantasy baseball league). I'd love to see what guys thoughts are on this..especially with the FF season getting ready to start, where I love the waiver wire weekend pickups as well.

I don't think it is cheating at all. You are given 80 moves to use with no regulations as to how you can use them. Other teams in the league could do the same thing too, right?

Robert, sounds like you're withing the league protocol. Keep doing what you're doing and bring that championship home!

Heck no its not cheating, its called streaming... keeping a couple spots open on your roster to play the matchups everyday. It just means you want to win more than others. If they give you grief for it, then they should either be doing it too or should get into a non-competitive league. If you play fantasy sports, you play to win your league by any means... otherwise what's the point?

It's not cheating since it's allowed, but I personally hate when people do that daily. You're averaging 2 per week, that doesn't seem bad at all.

In our blowout league I have only made 10 moves and am changing back and forth from 1st & 2nd place with someone who has 61 moves.

We shall never speak of that league again...Things are not looking so bright for me right now.

Rob, nothing wrong with loading up the roster like that. As was previously stated by Herm Edwards "You play to win the game!"

I do not think it is cheating at all, except last year when I was in a hockey league and my friend changed the league rules at the end, now that was cheating, and yet I still won the league.
