Default Looking to do a BIG break, need suggestions

Here's what I've got as options and I'm open to more:

4 cases 07/08 SPA
4 cases 0708 ICE
10 cases 05/06 Upper Deck Series 2 Hobby
10 cases 05/06 Parkhurst Hobby
7 cases 07/08 Upper Deck series 2 Hobby
3 cases 07/08 The Cup

I am leaning towards ICE or 05/06 UD S2
What would provide the best return and most fun?

I'm not looking to make any sort of profit, but would like to avoid an epic size probe to the downstairs regions.

*And which of the above would the best for grading? I would like to start a small BGS PC*

I would say the Cup.

People drop $5k, $10k, $20k all the time for breaks on this site. Not too unusual...

This ain't Beckett where you get the ol' ...

10 cases of 05/06 Series II is your best bet for the money. Lots of time for sorting though...good chance to hit a Crosby Rookie Ink /87 though!

Thanks for the suggestions so far!

Does anyone know approximately how much cases of this year's Cup will run?
Or does anyone know what the presell prices have been the last 2 years?

With OA doing well and S2 still full of plates/HG's/Patches/Victory Blacks/Rookie Inks, I may bust a bunch of those to pass the time until the Cup comes out.

Solt0131-Do you or anyone else have any tips on how to go about selling 10 cases worth of UD S2? Sets, singles, one massive lot?

I'm glad to see another person buying several cases. I know that there are several on this board that rip a lot of cases and make a good return others rip a lot save some cards for the PC and sell the rest I just haven"t had the luck when I rip now when I buy several cases to sit on I make very good money. I think the main reason I can"t make money ripping cases is that it takes me to long to rip and list I'm just not a hard core ripper. My personal choice would be The Cup not very many cards to list but a very high risk. The main thing is to allways buy as cheap as possible. Good luck with your choices.

I was going to do a big break, but for some reason Blowout is cutting me off. I don't know if I was e-mailing someone new or what, but after successfully purchasing 10+ cases in the last couple of months, they no longer ship to Canada.

CUP, But we can't even fill up the current 06/07 cup break that is being organized.

With 07/08 you should have no problem.

Yeah, it was really weird. I went to order 20 cases and whoever was e-mailing me acted like I was some bum off the street. After 5 months and almost $10,000 we were on a friendly first name basis. I've never had a problem with anyone there, in fact I'm always praising their service. Oh well, I guess that'll curb my spending anyway.
