Jody Shelley Only Gets 2 Games

Jody Shelley of Philadelphia Flyers suspended two games for hit - ESPN Boston

My opinion is it should have been 5 games at the very least. That was a cheap shot no matter what Shelley says.

It looks like it wasn't intentional.

oh man, that was clearly intentional...he moved his stick into a cross-checking position and PUSHED mcquaid straight into the boards. just nasty. def should have gotten more than 2 games. mcquaid could have broken his neck and gotten paralyzed...u just dont know with things like that when a guy is flying into the boards head first. being from boston, all i can think of is the tragic Travis Roy incident. thank god mcquaid was alright...but hits like that are just not acceptable

ONCE AGAIN Colin dishes out punishment based on name and logo on sweater.
Two games was more than enough for someone getting the wind knocked out of them. Thought Campbell wasn't allowed to make rulings on games involving his son's team ? Oh wait, looking at the schedule, now it's perfectly clear why Shelley gets suspended.

I don't think it was as much of an intent to injure as Ovechkin's hit on Campbell. That was a horrible hit and he only got 2 games. So at the very least they are keeping it consistent...

I am with you man... I agree in my opinion it was clearly intentional and I was shocked when I heard the ruling of 2 games, when I first saw the hit my first reaction was Jody will be gone for awhile lol.
