Who wants to make some easy money next week?

I know I do.. Here's the deal.. Marvel Comics Amazing Spider-man #583 comes out next week with a Variant Barack Obama cover. These are sold out from Marvel, but you can still get them around $14 a pop on ebay. I do comics from time to time and this is a potential GOLDMINE.

Note: This comic isn't released to the public until the 14th.. I seriously doubt you'll be able to get one in a comic shop, and if you do, you'll be limited to 1 copy.

I grabbed 10 copies from ebay myself, and next week I can see these going for $40-$50 a pop..

I'm just sharing this for my fellow collectors in case they want to try. No guarantee you'll make anything, but I've sold and made lots of money with many hot marvel comics, like last year, made a FORTUNE on Captain America #25. That's the issue he died in, and more recently Batman #681 (Where he died too, supposedly) anyway, and as any of you followed the Obama eTopps card which initially sold at $8.00 and is now at $80 know, anything Obama related right now is HOT, HOT, HOT!!!

Who knows, this comic could hit $70-100 within a week.. They're already flying off ebay. I just wanted to share this to help my fellow collectors fund their habit

If you do take my advice and make some money, come back to this thread and tell everyone how right I was!

Depending on when this lands in hand, it could spike. If they dont your out 6-7 bucks..given todays market thats a pack of cards. Worse case scenerio I put this with the other small stack of comic books I have left (or my big box of historical newspapers) and it can serve as my historical marker.

I heard about it yesterday on the radio, but figure I may even be able to flip this locally for 10-20 bucks and I'll be more than happy..no ebay fees no hassle..cash is king!

Well I just watched my auction tick down from 45 seconds, it got to 2 seconds and I was ready to leave when I refreshed it, and it said your item has sold for $79.99. I had it on a BIN for 3 days. Should have run a 1 day auction like some of you did. Not to bad for a 3.39 investment. Thanks again Indy. Keep us informed of any other investments you might come along.

I don't know who would be able to do this, but the authors of Spiderman w/Obama are going to be at the Comic con I believe Feb. 6th-8th signing comics. Take a look at what they are going for on an auto 1st print

I think next Wednesday afternoon is when people will be the most eager to find it. Most "normal" people are not even aware of this issue yet.
