Jupiters Legacy
I'm thinking of pre-ordering a couple of each the regular version and the 3 different variants from TFAW. There seems to be quite a bit of coverage of this comic lately, so I wonder what the print numbers will be too. I'm hoping it'll be a good read and investment!

yeah print run is one of my concerns too. people say saga had a large print run, but i have my reservations about this one. i think this will be ordered more heavily than saga, just based on creative team, and wild speculation. with that said i did order a 3 of the sketch variants and 3 of each cover. nothing on the scale of our friend skel though.

Just a heads up but the orders of the higher ratio variants are not always guaranteed. I rolled the dice myself. Good luck.

Did you read what I wrote? I stated that I picked up the variant. I do not see the word sketch in the description of that variant. It has been said there are multiple variants and a sketch. Those are what I am inquiring about.

The black and white is what I think people are referring to as a sketch

You changed it to monthly and it's now 9.95 right?

That's what I figured. So there is only one variant that we know of, correct?

From Mark Miller on cgc
We're still 3 weeks away from the Final order cut-off and Jupiter's Legacy #1 not only looks like the biggest-selling creator-owned launch for something like 15 years, but the number one book for April. I'm not entirely sure when a creator-owned book beat all the Marvel and DC books, but it's certainly way before I started looking at the charts back in the late 90s. We honestly thought someone had made a mistake when we saw these pre-orders and double-checked, but delighted to say we've done over THREE TIMES what even Kick-*spoon* gets pre-ordered. Obviously, this is incredibly exciting and Frank and I are trembling with anticipation. Huge thanks for all the people who have gotten behind us so far and I'm delighted to say that our next wave of PR should push this figure even higher. |

makes me wonder even more why everyone's sketch cover orders were getting cut now. they will be plentiful it seems. oh well. glad i cancelled my order now after i got jipped on the sketches. will just grab a copy at the shop on release to give a read, and stare at frank's art now. pretty crazy to beat out every marvel and dc book though. congrats to those guys. |
