I assume Topps can't release Gleyber's "RC Logo" cards until he actually plays in a MLB game. I wonder if just knowing that the RC cards are being signed by Torres will influence the price of his 2017 Bowman w/Chrome first Yankees Auto's.

I have one 2017 BC Gleyber Torres Green Shimmer Auto, so I hope this doesn't change the price on that card. Personally, I'd rather have the Yankees "RC Logo" Auto over his BC Cubs or Yankees Prospect Auto's available now. I guess time will tell which card is preferred.

Unlikely since the cards were probably produced in June. 2018 Bowman most likely.

Cody is actually doing quite well. It's really Judge that has cooled off (although the kid is still doing just fine). This hobby is so funny - What?! Judge isn't going to hit .340 and hit 70 bombs his first year?! SELL!!!!

I assume this happened to Topps Chrome too- how else do you explain why most guys have live and redemption base autos? Seems bizarre.

Topps has a long tradition of increasing print runs late in the game and helping fill the extra with redemptions of guys who already had live autos. This goes back all the way to at least 2003 Bowman Draft, maybe before.
