Default Classic Box Break Grade or not?

Opened a box of Donruss Classic today. Nothing too special. The hits were an Eli jersey and a Tom Landry jacket piece. But, I have a couple of questions (basically want input from you guys) I pulled a Brian Brohm Auto RC # 8/25. Since I'm a Packers fan I was excited and thought about the PC. But, after looking at how hot his cards seem to be right now, I'm thinking about selling it. I'm torn...also, the card is freakin gorgeous and I'm thinking about getting it graded. Would that be wise, or not worth it? I've never had anything graded before.

Sorry about the pic...I need a scanner that works!

Sorry, forgot to mention that I think (to the best of my knowledge) this is Brohm's first "Packers" card as well. Do you think that would be a factor in the price/value of the card?

Thanks guys, I appreciate it.

Nate

Its your favorite team, so I would have it graded and keep for the PC.He will be your starter in a couple of years.

If you want top dollar, sell now. Long term investment, if its going to get a good grade (9.5 or better) then send it in. But you'll then be waiting for him to start before the cards value will peak again (saying that as now you'll have interest in people wanting his autos from Classics).

If I was you I would get it slabbed and keep it in the PC. No real reason to get it graded if its going PC, unless you really want it graded that is. But if you want to grade it to sell, you will have to wait till hes starting. I don't see getting it done to sell now really helping the value. It will probably hurt the value of it now that I think about it. By the time you send it in and get it back the rush to get the new stuff will probably be over and the value of it will drop anyways, thus negating a 9.0 + grade. JMO take it as you will.
