So much potential. This is the one I'm waiting for the most and I hope that it lives up to the 30th Anniversary set! More "behind the scenes" and production autos would be a great start.

It would be nice if this was the ultimate New Hope autograph set. If it's not, it's just more of the same. It needs to have everyone still living from 30th Anniversary and then add big names that weren't included.

I'm interested to see if the 8 box case is true or an error by BlowoutBuzz.

Fewer boxes makes cases more affordable for more people -- and potentially easier to move more of them. At least that's my take on it.

Knowing Topps, my guess is 8 box case, but similar case price to regular releases making this a middle price point between the normal products and Masterworks.

Looking for Andre Dawson Serial numbered cards that are his jersey number - either #8 or #10. So looking for cards like 8/8 or 08/99 or 10/250.

Unless it's all the returned packing machine damaged autos from Evolution Update with a 40th Anniversary foil stamp. ;-) Hayden and JEJ excluded.

How about some buyback sketches from Adam Hughes, Len Bellinger, Katie Cook and others?

It's cheaper for Topps to buy back autos on eBay right now than it would be to have most actors sign new ones lol.

Major SW fatigue haha! All these cards are looking the same to me. But even then, it's nice to have new stuff

I am feeling really old with ANH hitting 40 years old. Like the idea and hope the release is worthy of celebrating those 40 years of Star Wars.

That's cool 8 box case. Go back to the old format.

That darrin Pepe sketch is awesome. The thing that would really do it for this set is the return of relics!!!

I don't care for sets with a bunch of base cards usually... but this set looks cool. I bought Tek last year because every base card mattered. That Mark Hamill looks great... hope its on card.

What's a price estimation on this? Box? Case?

"two hits from autographs, sketch cards, printing plates, medallions and buyback hits, according to Topps."

So a stamped buyback and medallion could end up being the two hits? I have no clue how well buyback cards fare for value but I feel like that'd be rough. Seems like TOPPS still didn't listen to us about medallions being main hits :/

From the wording it sounds like all medallions will be numbered with "Autograph medallions will be limited to 10 copies, while unsigned cards will have Blue (/199), Purple (/99), Gold (/25) and Red (/10) versions" so no 1/1 platinums.

I wonder if the 10 copies is a max or all auto medallions are /10 which could mean more Ford autos finally.

I bet they'll do stickers on the medallions, but it makes no sense if the base cards are on card. Just have them all ready at once. I understand duals, triple, etc since the actors won't all be together and card may get damaged by shipping around.

Also, anyone fare to guess at the 6 auto book? I'd be Ford, Hamill, Fisher, Daniels, Baker, Jones maybe. That'd be the best case, I just hope it's not rebel pilots or something with low level signers.

If the buyback values are anything like they are in sports (several manufacturers have tried this in sports) if the card was originally in high demand, it'll add to the value or at least not hurt it. If it's just some random buyback 1977 common, it's still just a 1977 common with a stamp on it, not a lot of value there.
