I'm not entirely sure what you mean...... ?

PCGS is the premiere grading service for coins. NGC is a distant second. They have no association with Beckett.

A "distant" 2nd? Not hardly.

PCGS is to PSA as NGC is to BGS?

not in ownership, but in slabs and community

I own more pcgs and ngc slabs than I care to admit
You need to really learn the coin you are after and buy the coin not the slab
Pcgs 99% of the time is correct
Ngc is usually 80% right

Which means a lot of over and under graded coins on the market

Very interesting. Thank you for commenting.

what i am looking at are common bullion silver coins. Not rare, not expensive.

i own two PCGS slabs and one NGC

i cannot, for the life of me, see how NGC is as popular as it is. Their inlay is WHITE and takes away from the visual of the coin.

i just dont get it. maybe im just old lol

I happen to prefer NGC simply because my first two coin "gifts" happened to be NGC graded and I didn't want to have a "mix" of different graded coins, (I have that with my graded cards)

But, after smakvay's comments, I may have to rethink this...

Depends on what you're getting graded. For US coins? PCGS will have a higher resale value.

World coins? NGC. Even ancients would fall here.

ANACS has really fallen down even more than I remember it. I love their holders though.

Or the Ultimate is PCGS W/ CAC . I am surprised that something like CAC hasn't caught on with cards. PSA 10 w/ CAC sticker. It would really change the value of some cards that are over graded.

Yes, hardly.

Coin for coin, PCGS kills NGC in market value. It's not a debate, it's not up for opinion and it's not arguable.

Whenever I wanted a coin graded I used ANACS because yo don't have to pay to join them.
