Default Star Wars Celebration autograph deal

If you can't go, like me, you can get a couple of autographs through Marco and 258 West Autos. I ordered 1 Mystery Pack since, imho, you can't go wrong with 2 auto'd 8X10s for $65 of characters from the classic movies 1-6. The cartoon characters aren't in this so it cuts out the odd voice actor.

The link is https://autograph.deals

Have fun,
Vinny
PS: not sure if it's a mix or just two signees. I may pm Marco to see if it's worth getting multiple orders. Don't want to assume.
Update: he has a few deals going so I added another pack

Am I missing it, or are they no longer listing the signers? I recall the GoT packs were very transparent and listed all the available autos that would be inserted. I was hoping they'd continue doing that.

They have never stated the 8x10 signers, just the GoT cards.

Gotcha. I wish they would though. Otherwise it's just a themed version of Pop Century. I liked how they listed the potential hits with GoT cards.

Regardless, good luck to those who purchase!

Hmm, I wouldn't compare this to Pop Century for a couple of big reasons. The big pro with 258 West's auto'd photoes to me is that Marco has a great reputation in regards to selling authentic autographs. Pop Century photos? I don't trust them because PSA/JSA's opinions don't come close to giving me peace of mind in regards to authenticity. Others might differ and that's okay.

The pro to Pop Century photos (if you can get past the authenticating middle man they use) is that you have a chance at big name autographs because it's a packed out product. 258 West's photos are going to be a certain tier consistently, but you're not going to get some big name with some luck.

Fair and valid points. I was more or less comparing the blind approach as I don't think Pop Century puts out a complete checklist for their photos , but I completely agree with your assessment. The average quality of 258 far exceeds PC.

Agreed. I can understand the similarities of the blind approach you're talking about.

Off topic, but I do like Pop Century's card issues. Don't like stickers, but at least Leaf is acquiring the signatures direct instead of PSA/JSA. I also find that it's rather difficult to find a lot of the card issues later on so I would guess that there is a rather hardcore market for them.

I'd expect Biggs as I've pulled his auto out of 4 different sets.

Since there are 2 Autographs in the pack and only a handful of possible combinations (from my end), listing the signers would not have made it much of a mystery.

Where with the Game of Thrones packs there were like 40 + signers and only 1 per pack. So listing the signers would not have killed the mystery.

I always try and provide as much info I can with out making it obvious.

It is a pretty good deal, check out the auto prices for most of the people at celebration, plus you don't have to wait in line or pay for admission!

Dave Prowse does still do conventions, just not as often as he used to and mainly in the UK.

He is scheduled to be at the Collectormania show in Birmingham, UK on June 3rd-4th.
