Default Comfortable Dress Shoes

I walk a lot at work on unforgiving floors. As a result, my feet take a beating. I've been wearing Clarks for a few months now but like everything else I have tried they are wearing down fast. Anyone have good dress shoes that will provide support and don't look like orthopedics? I also use insoles that help so I never buy low profile shoes as the insoles don't tend to fit.

Links and pics would be great.

Thanks!

Unless I specifically say so, I am NOT trading.
If I am selling a LOT, I will NOT break it up.
Ask for my "best price" and the price will go up.

Wolverine Durashock.

Have been wearing them for decades. Comfortable boots, polished up they're pretty slick.

What do you consider dress shoes? All types of definitions so far in this thread.

I buy all mine at Johnston & Murphy. They are as quality as you can get at various price points.

I recently bought a pair of these in Brown

Last 2 pair I've bought were Kenneth Cole Oxfords. Super comfortable and look nice. Can get expensive, but I've had an $80 pair and a $160 pair and both felt great.

The shoelaces suck though.

I'd look for some discount allen edmonds at shoebank.com. More expensive but superior quality.

As my friend would say

"get one of them good EYE-TALIAN leather shoes"

He can't say Italian the way we all say it.

This the brand my husband really likes. He has flat feet so he is very picky about his shoes.

Agree with this. I have a number of J&M shoes. I rotate 4 different pairs (brown boots; brown bicycle; black slip on; black oxfords) in regular use/wear.

The boots are new (1.5 years). The bicycles are like 5-6 years old. The only issue is there are a few strings coming loose. The black pairs are 4-5 years old. They're expensive, but last for years with heavy use and feel great on the feet.

I went with ECCO from Macy's. You can resole the shoes, last forever. Very comfortable

Glad to see a +1. More expensive than the rest posted but on another level of quality.

I have a decent pair of dressier Sketchers. I have some other black shoes that are more uncomfortable than wooden clogs.

I love Skechers but they make dress shoes? Their site doesn't show anything.

There is an outlet store not far from my house that had some. They're not something to wear with a tuxedo, but they look good enough for my job.
