The 2017 Baseball Wax Price Jumping Thread

I feel like a thread for this is needed.

Since release:

2017 Bowman is up to $165 a box and $325 a jumbo
2017 finest is up $50- $110 presale to $160
2017 Topps Heritage is up to $175- up from about $100 i think?
Chrome is up at $120 presale- Original presale was $60-$70

How much higher can 2017 wax go???

Group breakers aren't even buying at this price.

There were a lot of issues with 2016 Topps Finest being an online exclusive from Topps but the case price has not changed in over a year. Meanwhile 2017 Finest case prices are $1250 and more overproduced than 16.

One of the Vintage Stock's near me had 57 hobby pack's of 2017 Heritage left at $3.99 a pop. Bought them all since that is probably the cheapest I will ever see them again. Even at that price gonna lose at least half of my money. Heritage has been brutal for me this year. I have ripped a ton of hobby and retail. Only 2 auto's out of all of it and those were both from a hobby case.

I just saw the new pre release pricing on update/hhh here on blowout......my goodness this is getting crazy.

Even cashing in some Comc money to soften the blow is not helping much.

What are you talking about - group breakers will buy at whatever price to make their 10% cut as long as the demand is there - they cannot lose money regardless of cost.

you are completely missing the point of why wax goes up. any product that has the legit potential of pulling multiple $1000+++ cards is going to be AT LEAST where Heritage is now. I expect $200 per box easy if AJ keeps it up.

Heck a case sold today on ebay for over $2200.00

What's the consensus on Bowman blaster prices and the value coming out of them? BO started charging $30 per and its making me want to go buyout my walmart...I saw 12 sitting there the other day as well as 4 archives, 3 heritages, and some heritage hanger boxes and bowman value 3 packs. Which is the way to go?

I'm just not sold on any retail. My Walmarts and Targets still have tons of these blasters laying around. What would you be hoping to pull? A Judge or Belly base rookie?

Now if blasters started selling on eBay for $45+ it would be a different story. Just don't see any meat on blasters, and the odds of hitting anything is a very long shot.

Not missing the point at all....judge and bellinger are driving prices through the roof.

And if they keep raging, yes.....heritage, bowman, etc could see insane prices come September.

Have you checked out blaster prices on blowout? Especially heritage and bowman flagship.

Prices aren't hitting $45 yet, but they are climbing.

$29 per blaster for bowman/heritage is very impressive.
