Default Lawrie Super Auto

I picked it up from the post office today. I plan to get it graded later this week. For those with experience and/or a good eye, how do you think it will do?

Looks like you have a decent shot at a 9.5. Its hard to tell from pics/scans. Very nice card though. What are your plans after is comes back from BGS?

Upper right and lower left corners (on back) look very soft? Great card!

Regardless of what we think it will get a gold slab simply because Beckett wants the publicity. If I were you, I would get it graded by PSA or SGC just to give the middle finger to BGS.

(don't actually do that)

sick dude@!!@!@! i cannot wait to see the sale price on that!

to answer your question, it has a great shot at a 9.5 based on the centering being a 9.5.

the scan is kinda pixelated, too tough to judge corners and edges.

either way, i would send it in with the 2 day turnaround (cost me $54 shipped and all, so should be $56 for you), even if it is a 9, you're still covering your butt on the eventual sale. if you send it out tomorrow with priority shipping, you should have results back by friday.

and don't listen to the cry-babys that say why grade a 1/1 waaa waaa, they'd do the same damn thing.

I am a little nervous about sending it off in the mail. I think I am going to bring it there in person. I can make the round trip in a day and it would be neat to see everything that goes on there (or probably just their waiting room).

I usually just take my kid to a near by park for about an hour. I have never seen anything but the waiting room myself. You with this card may be able to get a grand tour though.

I feel you, I once sent BGS $30k of cards at once and was so torn between what to do with the insurance and declared amounts. I figured if I put lower amounts to save $$ and not attract as much attention to the package, I could get royally screwed if someone decided to take the package. On the other hand, if I declared the full amount (actually the max on registered mail is $25k, the most the USPS offers), I would have to pay out the a$$ for insurance, plus return insurance, and have a package that said it had $25k of insurance on it....equally scary....

You're lucky...BGS has a submission office in NYC now where they handle the shipping and handling for you.
