Default birfday gift from the wife and a technical question

After getting an early birthday gift from my wife a few weeks ago (a box of 2012 Gypsy Queen), I got another gift this week on my actual birthday... a box of WWE Heritage 3 Chrome! This was special to me - I love Heritage and this was the ONLY WWE Heritage product I didn't have. Got The Jeff Hardy auto as well as the following Allen & Ginter subset cards-

John Cena x2
Undertaker x2
Rey Mysterio
Triple H
Chief Jay Strongbow
Sgt. Slaughter
Iron Sheik

A question... Any suggestions on how to get better scans of chrome cards? I have an Epson Perfection 500. I dust that thing every time I scan cards, but I understand dust is dust. Its the weird dark scans I get with the reflective chrome cards that kills me. I've seen good chrome scans on the forums before, does anyone have any ideas/suggestions/directions? Any help is appreciated.

I have the same issue. The chrome card scan super dark. I have a canon mp160 myself. I haven't found anything that works except to take a picture at a slight angle with my iPhone.

Okay not answering your question, so I am sorry, but put a tampa bay buccaneers helmet and knife in the mouth on the Jeff Hardy picture and I swear he is the model after the mascot logo you have in the corner.

Compare your avatar/icon to the actual picture of Jeff Hardy on the card... crazy.

Tech question: A camera with decent lighting seems to work the best. The design of a scanner does not work well with reflective surfaces.

Now that you mention it, there is something of a resemblance...
