so they purposely print bad cards then call them 1/1s and sell them for more than a real 1/1. smart people.

They aren't bad cards. It has something to do with checking how they come out after printing or something along those lines,

I buy these all the time...one thing I noticed is that every now and then you get a set like TTT that all of the cards, even the base, are numbered on the front...like the TTT were /999 or whatever...and the blank back 1/1's from Topps Vault are the only cards that don't have any numbering on the front. Kinda cool.
