Default BGS Mailday Happy and Sad!

Got these back today. Happy with the grades but sad about the last 2!

These 2 hurt just because they are so close to a 10! Will do a GCR and see if I can bump the surface grade...I looked them over and they are CLEAN!

Pffff...sad? There is nothing sad about that. You got all Gems and 1 Pristine. You'll live.

If it wasn't so close, I'd be cool with it. But, damn, I want a 10 on those!

Unless I specifically say so, I am NOT trading.
If I am selling a LOT, I will NOT break it up.
Ask for my "best price" and the price will go up.

Anyone know how much GCR are at shows? I'm assuming it's a flat fee...no auto charge right?

I bet alot of people dont realize those Alex Morgan autos could be the most valuable of the bunch. I pulled a regular insert card of hers from 2011 Upper Deck SP Soccer Game Used (no auto or patch) /499 and it sold for $50!! Her auto /10 from the product has sold from anywhere from $750-$1250!!

I know we have had this discussion before- what is your exact process when viewing a card to send in... since you seem to have such a good eye. What type of cloth do you use to wipe the card, Do you look at it under magnification etc? Do you only send cards in you've pulled personally- what cards do you send in that you purchase elsewhere (alot of times cards on ebay are failed 9.5's from what I"ve heard) I"m trying to acquire a better eye.

I use the standard micro-fiber cloth found when you buy glasses/sunglasses. Nothing special there.

Just rub it down. Make sure you push down hard on your middle finger or thumb but make sure your nail does not scratch the card. Left right, up down repeat to make sure the surface is clean.

I would say I received a bunch of 9.5's and even some 10's from ebay purchases (along with cards I pulled). Just know who to buy from...and who to avoid.

In fact, all the cards above are ebay/bo purchases except for the the Fernandez and Starling redemptions!

Good luck!

Nah, going the GCR route...just like I prefer to RCR higher end cards FIRST before I sub.
