Default Small heads up.. I don't think eBay is allowing box break auctions anymore...

I recently tried to upload some items with "set break" in the title of the item.. Turbo Lister blocked the listings saying "Item my be in violation of eBay policy. Box break listings are not allowed...." (paraphrased) After removing "set break" from the listing titles I was able to upload without issue.

Not sure what's going on with that.. but I know that may effect a lot of people on here so I thought I would give the heads up.

I'm sure someone else will, though.

Not necessary, I'm pretty sure most members are aware of this as it has been like this for quite some time now.

has it? I listed over 900 items with "set break" in the title in august and didn't have any issues with it. Last night they were blocked?

here's the message from turbo lister...

Error 1 of 1

The item cannot be listed or modified.

The item cannot be listed or modified. The title and/or description may contain improper words, or the listing or seller may be in violation of eBay policy.

Message 1 of 1

Your listing appears to be offering a chance to win specific items from a lot, commonly called a box break, as opposed to actually offering those items for sale. Grab bags, and other chance listings are regulated by the Chance listings policy. You may list an actual item for sale, but we don’t allow listings for the opportunity to get items.

Please go back and edit your listing. To learn more about the Chance listings policy click here.

What would lead you to put "set break" in the title to begin with?

I bought complete sets of 1991 and 1992 pro line auto's.. these were the last hold overs from the auctions (non paying bidders)

Now you've intrigued me. Spill it. What with the IMAC part then? Please tell me it isn't because you consider yourself to be mack (mac) daddy or that it has something to do with that song Return of the Mack.

I'm surprised they haven't done this earlier. I imagine these have a higher % of PayPal claims than any other type of listing in that general category.

He isn't trolling this thread that's why I replied.. he's trolled many others though.

There are currently 5+ people with signatures that allude to me or talk about me directly.. apparently I'm having a blast haha.

You seem half normal compared to the rest of them.. would you consider the treatment I get "fun"?

You do need to unbunch your panties

Your biggest level of self caused headaches would be your inability to laugh at yourself and toss a smiley here and there when someone makes you the ass.

The more you buck it, the more crap you will keep getting

And now...

when they started attacking my little sister and started the signature crap.. it crossed a line with me. Call it "bunched panties" or whatever.. there has to be a line between "fun" and harassment.
