Default Potentail Tip: Ms Marvel #1

Rumor has it Marvel and Joss Whedon are looking at actresses for the role of Ms. Marvel in the upcoming Avengers sequel.

Might be a good idea to pick up Ms. Marvel #1 if you can find them.

They are easy enough to find.
People buy them for the 1st mytique factor.
They are showing a jump from 12-18 a book to 24-28 but not enough of a jump to indicate more than rumor right now. I would expect them to be 50+ if it was a solid thing,so who knows what the future holds

Should you go after her #1 book or first appearance? Very hard to find her 1st appearance.

Officially the person Major Carol Danvers debuts in the title Marvel Super-Heroes as an officer in the United States Air Force and Security Chief of a restricted military base who is caught up in an explosion - Marvel Super-Heroes #13 (March 1968), but Ms. Marvel #1 is when Danvers resurfaces with superhuman abilities and becomes the hero Ms. Marvel in a self-titled series in January 1977, which is the book above. I would think both would be good pickups, but the #1 is when she is first known as Ms. Marvel and not Major Carol Danvers

And like Gibberish said, they're cheaper now and moving higher, and if this rumor proves to be true, they'll go up even more. A couple months ago I was able to snag this VF copy out of my local shops back issue boxes for $3

Wow, look at that weird veiny hand. I may be part mutant!
