Default New BGS slab with the Auto grades on back...

meh, don't like 'em. a lot of the reason i send my high-end auto cards to BGS instead of PSA for my PC stuff is cuz i like that auto grade on the front (and it would match what i already have)

anyway, in my last submission 2 weeks ago, i wrote on the submission form to please use the old slabs with the front auto grade nibs (as per another poster's suggestion), but alas, cards came back to today with the new slabs and autos on back.

i have another sub on the way to them that i also asked for the front facing auto grades, so we'll see if they heed that one.

oh well.

You can request the auto on the front if you want it like that. I just did

Someone I know who works at BGS informed me they will be returning to the original format (BGS auto grades on the fronts) starting in December.

I just called, they ran out of the small square slabs. More are on the way from factory.

swingman, i did request the auto on the front. they ignored my request. if they're for some reason out of stock on those slabs, they need to inform the customer of this. i would have waited to have them graded, and not sent out my second submission until december either.

i can get not saying anything when there's no request given, but they knew i wanted certain slabs, and did not inform me that i would not be able to get them until december. if they think i'll resend them for reslabbing, they got another thing coming. maybe i'll e-mail customer service and see if they'll do it for free.

back or front does "it" really matter heck ill buy stabbed graded autos that are on the back all day long if it means cheaper pricing

I like the auto grade on the front a lot more, now I know not to submit my cards before December!

I wouldn't mind having it on the back if I had an auto that graded less than a 10. Seeing that 9, or heaven forbid, 8 on the front ruins it for me.

A perfect example is someone on here has a beautiful 2009 Chrome Trout auto. It is graded a pristine 10. For some reason, the auto got a 9 and it kills it. If the grade was on the back at least you wouldn't be reminded every time you look at it.
