I liked 2011 a little bit better but both seem to have the same, should I say, crappy relics.

I am looking for some minis if you have any extras. Please on me if you do

For the "flippers" I would say 2012 just because of Harper, Darvish, etc

2012 seemed to be more collectible if you are going for sale value. People seemed to want the insert minis more and the base set has better SPs and base cards (see players above). I didn't do as well on my boxes this year, but I would recommend 2012 over 2011.

2012 was a little better. 2011 did have a lot of good stuff in it as well. Ginter has really upped its game since 2010. Both 2011 and 2012 are great years with nice auto checklists.

I've busted 2 hobby boxes of 2012 and got 6 no name hits. I didn't break any 2011, however, I do like the black frame around the 2012 relics/auto's so I say 2012 ;p

I liked 11 better than 12, but there were a lot of redemptions in 11, less in 12, JMO.

The design of 2012 is a lot crisper. Not to say that 2011 had a bad design. The relics checklist on both is pretty lackluster, 2012 might have a slight edge with some of the SP relics, but they're just that. Auto-wise, I personally like 2012 a little better than 2011. 2011 was still pretty good, though.

Flipping-wise, your best bet is definitely 2012. Realize though that Ginter is verrrry hit or miss. There are some boxes that you'll end up with 2 Greg Gumbel relics and your best card value wise is a base Bryce Harper. Or, you could open 8 loose packs and hit a Bryce Harper auto redemption which you'll probably end up giving up on waiting for and end up with a Greg Gumbel autograph.

I vote 2012.
